Who We Are - STBA Officers and Board members

The STBA board has expanded, adding new community members with a diverse range of talents to reinforce the excellent work and dedication the board veterans have shared in keeping the bridge's future in the public discussion.  We are entering a pivotal moment, with new opportunities to collaborate with both the City of Waterville and ODOT Region 2 leadership in finding a new path forward. 

We see a structure that was designed to last, engineered and built by Daniel Luten and his National Bridge Company.  Luten was a pioneer in early 20th century concrete bridge design, and the RDB Interurban bridge incorporated his unique and patented "Luten Arch" which added significant strength, and in his design and build of the piers and arches, the RDB Interurban bridge was overdesigned for its purpose. 

In this restructure, Dave Weber, one of the original board officers and a passionate advocate for the bridge, has left the board and no longer has a role in public discussions or planning.  We wish Dave well in his future pursuits beyond the scope of the STBA!
